Building Confidence and Camaraderie

Powder Cats is Powderhorn’s signature lesson program for young skiers ages 6 to 8. With small group sizes and engaging instruction, this program helps kids build skills, grow confidence, and have fun in a safe, supportive environment. Whether they’re just learning to link turns or ready to explore new terrain, our instructors guide each child at their own pace with patience, encouragement, and a whole lot of high fives.

Each session focuses on fundamentals through games, exploration, and plenty of movement—because learning should be just as fun as riding the lift. These little rippers might be pint-sized, but they’re full of spirit, and Powder Cats gives them the foundation they need for seasons of mountain adventures to come.

Winter 2025-26 Program Pricing & Dates

Use the buttons below to reserve lessons on our WebStore—use the calendar to select the date of the first lesson in the series (Jan. 3 or 4 for Series #1, Feb. 7 or 8 for Series #2) and bring your child back on the same day of the week for five weeks. You cannot switch between days of the week after booking. View pricing and dates for last winter’s program below—Winter 2026-27 pricing and dates will be similar.

Series #1 – $599 Saturdays: January 3, 10, 17, 24, & 31 -or- Sundays: January 4, 11, 18, 25, & Feb 1

Series #2- $599 Saturdays: February 7, 14, 21, 28, & Mar 7 -or- Sundays: February 8, 15, 22, Mar 1, & 8
