PHAST Program

Powderhorn Adventure Sports Training (PHAST)

Affordable Skiing and Snowboarding for Students

For decades, Powderhorn Mountain Resort has partnered with local schools and communities through the Powderhorn Adventure Sports Training (PHAST) program. This program makes skiing and snowboarding more accessible to students while helping them discover a lifelong sport and develop an appreciation for the outdoors. Whether your students are stepping into skis or a snowboard for the first time or already have experience on the mountain, PHAST offers lessons for a variety of ability levels.

Program Guidelines

The PHAST program is available to students ages 8–18, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Groups must have a minimum of 10 students and may choose to participate in either skiing or snowboarding. All Level 1 students who are skiing or snowboarding for the first time must register for a full-day or Early Bird lesson.

Advance registration is required, and reservations must be submitted at least 72 hours before arrival. Availability is limited, and reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
