Stay just steps away from the slopes with Powderhorn’s cozy, private, and efficient Tiny Homes, offering a one-of-a-kind lodging experience right at the base of the Flat Top Flyer. They’re perfect for families, couples, or small groups looking to stay close to the action. Units include kitchens, bathrooms, and beds for 4 to 8 guests each. You can also book a dry–camping space in our unpaved parking lot, or check out our lodging partners just a short walk or drive away.

Alternative Lodging at Powderhorn
Our Big Idea
The first phase in Powderhorn’s alternative lodging plan at the resort is the Tiny Homes Village, six units located right below the main Flat Top Flyer chairlift. The next step is the development of a larger Tiny Home community, with many more units available to rent or own! Tiny Homes are comfortable, fully equipped, sustainable accommodations conveniently nestled on the mountain. Efficiently designed, each unit sleeps four to eight and has a full bath, plus its own kitchen, kitchenette, or microwave so you can relax with a hearty meal in your own great room, on your deck, or gather with others at the cozy firepit to delight in sharing adventures of the day.

Downhill Bike Trails
Powderhorn features 12 miles of lift-accessed downhill mountain biking trails, as well as connectivity to the Palisade Plunge and greater Grand Mesa trail system.
Hiking
Guests can enjoy 5.2 miles of hiking trails along with scenic chair rides to the top of Powderhorn’s high speed quad lift. Hike from the top of the chairlift to the picturesque West Bench trail.
Trails For All
There are trails suited for all abilities at Powderhorn Bike Park. There is lift access along with designated uphill routes servicing four green trails for beginners, two blue trails for intermediate riders, and one black trail for advanced mountain bikers.
Tiny Home Timeframe
Current Status: Available NOW for nightly booking! Six Tiny Home units available for you to enjoy with friends and family.
Future Expansion: Large scale rollout with several groupings of Tiny Home units available for both nightly rental, and for purchase by individuals for personal use, with option to include in the Tiny Home Rental Program.
