Arriving at Powderhorn/Check in procedure:

On Friday prior to the event there will be an official time window when collegiate teams and athletes can arrive at Powderhorn. This will be communicated with all participants via email prior to their arrival. Each athlete will need to fill out a symptom sheet that will be collected at the check in point. The check in point will be set up below the camping sites and will be staffed by CMU. At the check point athletes will be checked in, hand over the symptom sheet and their temperature will be taken before entering Powderhorn. The checkpoint will be set up every day to ensure all athletes and staff are symptom free, and will be staffed by CMU event medical staff.

Cross Country and Short Track:

Those races will be limited to 50 athletes each. Athletes will be called up individually to the start line and staged about 6ft apart. The athletes will be required to wear a facemask till 30sec before the start of the race occurs.

After an athlete finishes the race, he or she will be directed to their team side and will not be allowed to congregate at the finish line.

Downhill:

The downhill race will be held in a different fashion then usually. For practice, designated college teams will have assigned time slots on when they can load the lift, this includes men and women of a team.  Open Riders will not be able to join time slots for collegiate.

For the actual Downhill competition teams and riders will again have assigned times to upload the lift. Racers will race in their respective team environment and will not co-mingle with other teams. After each athlete finishes the race, he or she will be directed to their team side and will not be allowed to congregate at the finish line.

Awards and Podiums:

There will be no award ceremony at the event.  The results will be posted online only to avoid congregations at the results board.
