4:30 PM update - What a day it was. The snow started falling at 5 this morning and it continued to snow heavily throughout the day. We did pick-up 12 inches of new snow. It's going to be a great, sunny day tomorrow. We received word from CDOT that Hwy 65 is closed at approximately mile marker 54 due to rock slides and will remain closed until further notice. CDOT is re-routing traffic through the DeBeque cutoff. This will take you from your original Exit 49 to Exit 62. More snow on the way! Keep your eye to the sky. Get ready for the USASA Skier/Boarder Cross event on Saturday, March 8 and Rail Jam on March 9. The Powderhorn PH3 Race and Military Appreciation Day is on Sunday, March 16.
