MESA, Colo. (Dec. 8, 2015) – Powderhorn Mountain Resort (PMR), Leitner-Poma and Prinoth, are hosting a Community Day on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 at PMR, to show appreciation to the Grand Valley community for their support of the Flat Top Flyer and improved snow grooming at PMR.

“Leitner-Poma of American (LPOA) is happy to partner with Powderhorn and Prinoth to present a day of appreciation to the many loyal Powderhorn skiers from the Grand Valley who supported this great local gem over many years, over many long cold rides, to access great skiing.  Now with a six-minute ride to the top, it’s our pleasure to bring you more bang for your precious buck,” stated Rick Spear, president of Leitner-Poma of America.

Dave Hunter, Director of Sales and Snow Grooming for North America Prinoth added, “In conjunction with the completion of the Flat Top Flyer, Powderhorn Mountain Resort has purchased a 350 winch from PRINOTH. This season PMR will also be testing out the largest snow groomer in North America; The BEAST. The partnership between Powderhorn Mountain Resort and our two companies illustrates trust, hard work and dedication on all sides.”

Powderhorn Community Day will be a community appreciation day with significantly discounted full-day lift tickets. Prices will be $29 for adult ages 18 and up, $15 for youth ages 17 and under, and children six and under will be free. No other discounts will be applied. Prices will be valid for Dec. 13th only.

“We are extremely excited to be working with Leitner-Poma and Prinoth on this great opportunity. We want everyone in the Grand Valley to be able to come up to Powderhorn and get a chance to ride the new Flat Top Flyer and experience all the other improvements we made over the summer. The snow conditions are excellent so come on up and get in a great day of skiing or snowboarding,” said Sam Williams, general manager of PMR.

PMR will also give away a 2015-16 Powderhorn Season Pass.

Advance tickets will be on sale at the Powderhorn website and they will be available for purchase at the Powderhorn Ticket Office the day of the event.
