Powderhorn Mountain Resort

Mesa, Colo. (July 3, 2013) – As the summer heat sets in and temperatures continue to rise, Powderhorn is just the place to beat the heat.  The resort is adding two new summer events giving guests more reasons to escape to Powderhorn to enjoy the cool mountain air at altitude. The first is a July stop in the WEBE Moto Race series; the second is Summer Celebration in August, including the Dirty Duathlon 10K, BBQ and chili cookoff and live music. Fall features the return of locals’ favorite events for leaf peeping on the Grand Mesa: Fall Fest; and Color Weekend, both in September.
