Hiking at Powderhorn Mountain Resort has always offered spectacular views of the surrounding high-desert valleys and plateaus. New this year, the resort has introduced the Grand Overlook trail that begins at the top of the Flat Top Flyer, Powderhorn's high-speed quad lift. The mile-long out-and-back trail leads hikers to a beautiful scenic picnic area that overlooks the resort and some of Plateau Valley's most breathtaking views.
Check out Powderhorn's newest trail - Bill's Walk, a picturesque hike from the Base Lodge to the top of the Flat Top Flyer. This classic uphill trail is a perfect adventure to get a great workout!
The popular West Bench Trail can also be accessed from the top of the chairlift and offers a scenic hike to Mesa Lakes or the western boundary of Powderhorn's property.
Dogs are allowed at the Powderhorn Bike Park but must be on a leash at all times, and are not allowed on any bike trails or on the chair lift
