"Start time is 8am, entry fee is 50$. Big raffle, goodie bag and beer at the finish. The Divine Incline race makes a perfect Western Slope race weekend coming the day after the Sunlight Mt. Heathen Challenge rando race which is only an hour and twenty minutes away. From hell to heaven in 24 hours on skis!

Mandatory gear: helmet, beacon, shovel, probe and pack. If you have "tech" bindings (Dynafit, Ski Trab, La Sportiva), skis 75mm or narrower and mixed or mohair skins you probably belong in the Race category. If you have a heavier set-up go for the Rec category. Bike or climbing helmets are ok. (Yes all of the event is in a controlled area but we require the mandatory gear as many of the other events in the COSMIC series are in and out of ski area boundaries; always requiring the same gear keeps it ez for competitors to know what's needed). Powderhorn Ski Area will also be hosting wednesday morning training races this winter, so get your gear and plan on great workout before work. And if it snows, stay for a few few runs after the race."
