SEASON PASS PHOTOS

Who needs a photo?

  • New season passholders
  • Kids up to age 18 who had a pass last season

Photos can now be taken and passes can be picked up at the ticket office.

If you are over 18 and had a pass last year, we will use last year's photo and mail the pass to you.

SEASON PASS CONDITIONS OF USE

  • The pass is issued to the person whose picture appears on it. Only that person may use the pass. Passes are not transferable and will be revoked for the remainder of the season if used by other than the issued individual.
  • Please report a lost pass to the Powderhorn Ticket Office as soon as possible to prevent mis-use of your benefits. We are happy to replace your pass for a $25 fee and will do so within one week of your loss.
  • You need to wear your pass at all times when skiing or boarding at Powderhorn. Our ticket checkers must verify that it is really you who is using the pass each time you board the lift. A tampered or defaced photo could be considered as an attempt to steal.
  • If you forget your pass and still want to ski/board, we are happy to sell you a ticket at the window for the current day’s price.
  • The new law in Colorado states that skiing/boarding under the influence of alcohol or drugs, OR skiing in closed area, OR leaving the scene of a collision CAN result in fines of up to $1000.
  • Reckless and dangerous activity on the mountain may result in temporary (or even permanent) revoking of a season pass.
  • If you have reason to ask for a refund for your purchase, we are happy to accommodate your request up until the day we open (with a $25 handling fee). After opening day, we will gladly transfer your refund to a pass for the following season with a physician-validated medical reason. After the 1st of February, we will honor such valid requests on a pro-rated basis.
  • Since Powderhorn cannot control snow depth or condition, we cannot guarantee opening and/or closing dates. We cannot offer season pass refunds for less-than-perfect conditions or unexpected missed opening or closing dates.
  • We reserve the right to revoke any Season Pass (without a refund) for violation of these rules and regulations.

SAFETY AND COURTESY

We want all our guests to have a pleasant and enjoyable experience. To ensure that, we have some requests:

  • Please conduct yourself under the “Responsibility Code”. Play in a safe and courteous manner, completely in control.
  • Follow the flow of traffic in determining how fast to ski or board.
  • Lift lines are not the place to push or shove or cut in.
  • No inappropriate language. We want our guests and staff to be respected.

We have some absolute requirements:

  • Drugs and alcohol don’t work with our sports. Please don’t use them. Remember the penalties defined above.
  • Our facilities and equipment are there for all to enjoy. Please don’t deface or destroy them.
  • We prosecute thieves.
  • Physical abuse of others will not be allowed.
  • Jumping from lifts will result in your pass being revoked.

Powderhorn management has the authority and responsibility to pull passes and evict guests who violate these absolutes. We don’t enjoy doing it, but must sometimes do so to maintain the character of our company.
