Powderhorn Resort is announcing new summer operations for the summer of 2007. The resort is moving toward year-round business with new activities and availability of facilities. The Inn at Wildewood will offer lodging throughout the summer while Wildewood Restaurant and the Alpine Trader will be open on weekends.
Powderhorn will also be offering new mountain bike trails open to the public at no charge. Trails will accommodate beginner, intermediate, and expert riders. Full trail maps will be available at Powderhorn and local bike shops. In addition to other summer events, autocross car races will take place regularly throughout the summer.
“We are extremely excited to open the resort this summer,” said Powderhorn’s Marketing Director, Sarah Allen. “Powderhorn offers a perfect affordable getaway and opportunity for the locals to escape the summer heat.”
