5 Friday Afternoon Ski dates will bring together Services Organizations from across the area to compete and just have fun here at Powderhorn.
Each Friday event will conclude with an apres ski at the Bear's Den for just $5. Contact your service club to see how you sign up!
Events:
#1 January 25 - There will be guided clinics meant to increase confidence for the beginner and critique the more advanced. A Powder Clinic, depending on conditions and some instruction on racing.
#2 February 8 - The second round of guided clinics meant to increase confidence for the beginner and critique the more advanced. A Powder Clinic, depending on conditions and some instruction on racing. And a domonstration of the newer styled skis to increase your safety.
#3 February 29 - Poker Run...the idea of the Poker Run, $5 per 5 card hand,just pick up a card at the five pre determined stops and the best hand wins the pot at the Apres Ski Party in the Bear's Den.
#4 March 14 - Vertical Challenge Details to be determined.
#5 March 28 - A Race Clinic with gates so that particpants can acquaint themselves with the format and build confidence. Followed by the race itself.
Followed by a wrap up party.
