THE learning destination for children ages 3 to 7, the Children's Learning Center at Powderhorn will make the littlest skiers or riders, and their parents, happy!
Parents will love the hassle-free drop-off where they can purchase group or private lessons, equipment rentals and lift tickets all in one place. Kids will love the enthusiastic instructors, the play-based learning, and of course, the snacks and hot chocolate! Children may stay and play at the Learning Center while their parents ski, however it is not a daycare facility. Children should be interested in snowsports, toilet-trained and ready to enjoy spending time away from Mom and Dad.

The Pee Wee Special is available daily from 9:30am-2:30pm.
First Time Fun lessons are available in a 2 or 4 hour package. The 2 hour group lesson package is available either in the morning or afternoon, while the 4 hour group lesson package runs all day and includes lunch.
Morning check in is between 9:00-9:30 a.m., with morning pick up at 11:30 -12:00. Afternoon check in is between 12:00 and 12:30 p.m. with afternoon pick up at 2:30 - 3:00.

Powderhorn's marquee program for kids, Powdercats is a skill advancement series for children ages 5-7. Powdercats runs for four weeks, with two bonus days available, for up to 6 weeks of consecutive classes! The clinics emphasize skill improvement, fun and safety while exploring the whole mountain. Powdercats is appropriate for skiers or riders who have already had a few days on the slopes, and have ability to stop before their first lesson. Parents - be prepared! After graduating from Powdercats your little skier or rider is just going to want to go, go, go!

Bring your child in for a morning or afternoon session at the Children's Learning Center. Lessons are available in one or two hour formats, with the rest of the time spent having fun and playing indoors. First Time Fun: For Never-Ever Skiers and Riders (Ages 5 to 7)
Some kids are adventurous. Some kids are shy. Some are ready to jump in with both skis, while others need to think the whole snowsports thing through. No matter what sort of learning style your child has, the First Time Fun program at Powderhorn will give him, or her, a great introduction to fun on snow! Group lessons provide the best introductory learning environment and kids learn easier and faster when they learn with their peers, plus its just a whole lot more fun!First Time Fun lessons are available in a 2 or 4 hour package.
